Tilausohjeet
01 Choose Model & Size
When choosing a size, the most important factor is the blade length.
For a versatile knife suitable for yourself or as a gift, we recommend the carving knife (vuolupuukko).
If you are looking for something more unique or larger, consider the hirvestäjä or Lapland cleaver models.
You can always contact me if you need help choosing the right model. For both small and large projects, I can provide a custom quote.
All knives are handcrafted in Lapland.
Please note that delivery for custom orders is approximately 2–4 weeks.
02 Artwork / Image
Do you already have a design in mind? Perhaps a portrait of your pet? Fantastic!
Send it to me, and remember: you can rarely have too many reference images.
Try to ensure the images are clear, accurately colored, and representative of the subject.
For pets, it’s important that the photo is taken at the eye level of the animal. Angled shots from above or below usually distort proportions.
Not sure what you want? No problem! Contact me, and we’ll design the perfect image together.

Let the Image Speak
and the Story Come Along
Every image I pyrograph on wood carries a story
sometimes joyful, sometimes nostalgic, but always meaningful.
When creating a custom piece, I often document the process on social media, sharing the story behind your unique kuksa or knife.
If you’d like your piece featured, I’d love to hear more about it:
Why this image?
What does it mean to you?
For pets:
Name, breed, and age
How did you choose this pet?
Activities you enjoy together, future plans, or dreams
Favorite toy, treat, or nap spot
Most cherished memory together
For landscapes or buildings:
Why is this place important to you?
How often do you visit? When was your last visit?
Your favorite memory from this place
Write as much or as little as you like. Every story is unique – and it’s an honor to preserve it on wood.
